Hi all, Thanks for all your comments. Arrived safely and on the move already. Boston is a brilliant city and so clean (London could learn a lot). Transport (The T) is superb and cheap. There are no smoking signs on the tube that state smoking on the cars may lead to 10 days imprisonment (no messing about).
I have put a few photos up, now i've worked it out on this new phone.
Saw the Red Six play on Sunday- I sought of knew what was going on! Met 2 Canadians across to watch the Bruins play in the Ice hockey finals. Peter and Woody thanks for the beers and hopefully catch up later in the year to watch a game near you. Ps your $500 tickets must have been well worth it after the 8-1 win.
Weather has been very warm 90 plus, which is very hot for the time of year. Been humid and tonight there has been some big thunder and lightning but no rain. Nearby there has been hail 3 inches big, last week there was a tornado about 70 miles west of Boston.
Went on a tour around Fenway Park (Red Six home) on Monday. Forgot to mention that baseball game on Sunday lasted about 3.25 hours - the day before it lasted 5 hrs and 17 minutes!
Left Boston Wednesday with my hire car - what a pile of junk a 2010 Chevrolet Impala. Good job speed limits are low as it would struggle to do uk motorway stuff. Ok for 55mph max like today. Bye the way if you think uk roads are bad you should see some of the roads I've done today in Maine.
Stopped in Portland last night and tonight i'm in Waterville. Tomorrow i'm into Canada which on this phone is classed as roaming (I.e. bl**dy expensive) as a result i'll post again when in Detroit 20 June.
Bye for now Andy
